The sizes on these sweaters are S/M or M/L and those fit a range of sizes. We recommend a S/M to fit anywhere from a U.S. size 2-8, depending on your size it will either be more loose fit and flowing or tighter to start but will stretch to fit. The M/L fits similarly in a range of sizes from a U.S. size 8-14.
Wooden Ships items are made fairly in Bali, Indonesia. They are a "no waste' company meaning they only make a sweater once its been ordered. This allows them to never have to dump stock as some fast fashion companies do. Their knitting facility is 85% solar power run and they make sure to recycle and compost everything plus any leftover yarn gets donated locally to be used as stuffing for pillows and dolls. Not only do they care about their environmental impacts but they care tremendously about their employees. They pay their employees fairly plus give them all free health care plus many other great benefits. They also give back to many non-profits such as Sea Shepherd, International Anti Poaching Foundation, Earth Justice and more.
